Rose du Lac in Manitoba, Leon was a federal public servant and a teacher. He leaves his first wife, Teenie Yurey; his son Bernard (Gatineau); his daughter Marianne (Calgary); three grandchildren as well as his life companion Line Godbout (Shediac, New Brunswick). He also leaves eight brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.
